pause & revel soma sessions begin with arrival-
into body, into place, into presence, into ecology.

soma, in this work, is not the body as object or system.
soma is the body as living field - a site of engagement,
a convergence of breath, fluid, memory, bones,
sensation, ancestry, and place.

all soma sessions at pause & revel
are grounded in biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST),
and informed by multiple modalities rooted in
movement, breath, deep listening, heart resonance, and nervous system attunement.

BCST sessions invite you to understand, listen to, and be with
the body as an Intelligent ecology
shaped by embryology, rhythms, experiences and relationships.

biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST) is an invitation for deep listening to the innate Intelligence of the body- attending to the luminous ordering forces that move through fluid, fascia, bone, and space. BCST soma sessions orient to the dynamic forces constantly moving toward homeostasis and health.  Together we meet the body where it already knows how to reorganize itself, allowing the body/mind to slow down, rest, attune, repair, unwind, integrate, replenish, and cultivate inner resources.

each session unfolds in relationship
between practitioner and client,
body and field,
self and world.

soma is where the web of life is felt.

biodynamic craniosacral therapy - 60 minutes (BCST-60)
listening to the body's Intelligence

BCST-60 soma sessions offer a spacious entry into biodynamic craniosacral work-
a practice of deep listening to the body's inherent ordering forces.

rather than directing or correcting,
we attend to the subtle rhythms
of breath, fluids, tissues, and bones
allowing the nervous system to orient
toward safety, coherence, rest, and repair.

through gentle touch and deep listening
to the presence of Health,
restrictions of tidal movements
within the bones, fluids and tissues
can be perceived & released
resulting in improved physiological function
by restoring flow and movement
to the fluids, tissues, breath, & bones of the body.

Supportive for:
those new to craniosacral work
co-regulation & nervous system settling
navigating stress, fatigue, overwhelm
relieving jaw, neck, shoulder & back pain
integration & recovery from accidents, surgery, & dental work
relieving of migraine & tension headaches
alleviating chronic fatigue
nourishing the central nervous system
reconnecting with and deepening relationship to the soma

You are not asked to perform or process.
The work unfolds at the pace of relationship.

biodynamic craniosacral therapy - 90 minutes (BCST-90)
settling into the field

BCST-90 soma sessions offer time
for the body to arrive fully and settle into dynamic stillness and presence
moving beyond surface settling
into more spacious unfolding, integration, release, and re-patterning.
here breath deepens, tissues soften,
and the body's inner tide becomes more perceptible.

Supportive for:

those who benefit from unhurried integration
unwinding chronic stress and habitual patterns
grief, transition, and threshold moments
digesting, composting, & transforming trauma residue & patterning
letting go of narratives that induce anxiety & depression
opening inquiry into authentic self
deepening somatic inquiry
discovering depths of inner resources
creating space & opening pathways
for bodies, minds, and hearts
to remember their essential nature

Nothing is forced.
The body leads.
We listen together.
